av systems and structured cabling for restaurants

METROPOLITAN DEVELOPMENT

Restaurant Low Voltage Wiring

Reliable, no-nonsense installation of AV systems and structured cabling.

METROPOLITAN DEVELOPMENT is the creator of five critically-acclaimed restaurants — including Bar La Grassa, the Barrio Tequila Bars, and The Butcher & The Boar — plus a condo project and numerous commercial developments.

A GREAT DEAL OF SERVICE

As co-owner/contractor, TIM ROONEY hires MTG to handle the AV systems and structured cabling for his restaurant projects because, “Job after job, time after time, they provide a great deal of service.” Rooney doesn’t waste a lot of time spoon-feeding the project specs to his team. Instead, he’ll outline his general needs for music, sound, screens, and data in brief phone calls and bullet points. “I give them the big picture. It’s their job to fill in the details and give me a number.”

DESIGNING FOR A TIGHT BUDGET

Budgets are extremely tight, “The challenge is to create as much bang for the buck as possible. They get that. They’ll show me a plan that I can respond to,” says Rooney “Then we go back and forth until we get to a point where we agree on the scope of work and the costs.”

As the project evolves, Rooney might call to make changes, such as adding projectors, or moving server stations. His MTG project manager will respond quickly to phone calls, modify plans, order equipment, manage the schedule, and update pricing.

FAST TO RESPOND AND RELIABLE

Although he understands that things sometimes go wrong, Rooney doesn’t have time or patience for mistakes. If there’s a problem, MTG is “fast to respond and repair.”

Timelines for final installation are tight, usually less than 10 days. “They do their work. They perform. They execute. They’re reliable and I can count on them.”
