Integrating and Managing Security Solutions

As a Product/Applications Manager, Joel Zimmerman is responsible for administering and coordinating security software applications for MTG clients. Joel’s first assignment will be to participate in a large-scale security systems assessment for a building products manufacturer in Memphis, TN.

Joel came to us with extensive security system field experience, so he understands the challenges of system integration for our customers. He will serve as a subject matter expert for security applications, and as a training resource for MTG field technicians and external partners.

Joel recently passed his Axis Network Video Exam, and is qualified as an Axis Certified Professional. The exam focuses on industry knowledge within video surveillance solutions.

Coordinating operational aspects of these systems, as well as planning the strategic direction throughout each application’s life cycle will keep him very busy! Efficient and detail-oriented, he’s the right person to coordinate critical communication between vendors, customers, and the MTG team.

His security planning and design experience makes Joel a great addition to the MTG team, and our partners will appreciate his thoughtful and experienced approach to developing security solutions.

An All-Around Player

Rick Arch joined MTG in August as a Project Manager. According to Director of Operations, Mike Botten, Rick is doing a “fantastic” job learning the MTG way and stepping into our world. His in-depth knowledge of retail loss prevention and his industry experience in security, access control, CCTV and fire alarms system integration make him a great addition to the team.

Rick is an “all-around” player who’s always willing to pitch in when and where he’s needed. In addition to managing several current projects, he’s also busy designing and estimating fire alarm and security-related systems. He’ll be handling MAC fire alarm installation projects for one of our larger clients. And he will also be building new relationships with electrical contractors that need MTG’s full range of low voltage cabling services.

“Rick has industry experience, great attention to detail, and shares our core values,” says Botten. “I’m confident he will go ‘Above and Beyond’ to advocate for clients and anticipate their needs.”
